Education & Equity for all
The Austin Area Urban League Equity and Excellence project works on the local level with students, parents, and educational stakeholders to develop innovative programs aimed at education advocacy and excellence. In close partnership with Urban League affiliates, EEP operates at the grassroots level to propel its mission forward, with an emphasis on aligning with the principles of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and addressing pertinent educational concerns.

The EEP targets seven focus areas that help students at every level from Pre-K to college graduation. Each focus area seeks to combine reform approaches and address the complex issues that students, parents and educators in our community’s face.
